Anki

Anki is an open-source and free flashcards app available for pretty much all platforms, including Android, Apple iOS, Mac OS, Windows and Linux. The Coin Hunt World Wiki maintains a custom Anki deck of flashcards about Coin Hunt World trivia questions which you can download and use.

Installing Anki

Android

1. Download the Ankidroid app for Android in the Google Play Store
2. Open the app, and login to your Anki Web account (create one if you don’t have one yet)
3. That’s it! Next step is to get the CHW Trivia deck (instructions below)

Apple iOS

1. Download the AnkiMobile Flashcards app for iOS in the iTunes Store
2. Open the app, and login to your Anki Web account (create one if you don’t have one yet)
3. That’s it! Next step is to get the CHW Trivia deck (instructions below)

Windows and Mac OS

1. Download the Anki for Windows or Mac OS by selection your OS at the bottom of the screen
2. Open the app, and login to your Anki Web account (create one if you don’t have one yet)
3. That’s it! Next step is to get the CHW Trivia deck (instructions below)

Getting the CHW Trivia Deck

You will need to download the deck, and then “Import” the deck into the Anki app you installed.

1. You can get the CHW Trivia flashcards deck by downloading it from Anki Web using this link.

2. Import the deck into Anki by opening the Anki app and looking for a button that says “Import.” It may be hidden away in a menu somewhere!

3. Select the “CHW Trivia.apkg” file you downloaded from Anki Web.

4. That’s it! Next you will learn to create a custom study session (instructions below)

Creating a Custom Study Session

To effectively study up on CHW Trivia, you can create a custom study session with Anki that only shows you flashcards for particular trivia categories and vault colors. In this simple tutorial, we will learn how to create a custom study session for Green Vault trivia from Automotive and Technology, but you can mix and match however you like.

1. In Anki, long press on (or otherwise open the options menu for) the Coin Hunt World Trivia deck.

2. In the options menu, click “Custom Study” or similar.

3. In the Custom Study menu, click “Limit to particular tags”.

4. Check the boxes for “Green_Automotive” and “Green_Technology” (or whatever else you like)

5. Click “Select” or “Confirm”

6. In Anki, you will now see a new deck on the homepage called “Custom Study Session.” You can rename it if you’d like!

Note:
There are three types of tags:

(1) Vault color tags, like “Green”;

(2) Trivia category tags, like “Automotive”;

(3) Combined tags, like “Green_Automotive”.

Choosing “Green” will show you ALL green vault trivia questions, from all categories. Likewise, choosing “Automotive” will show you ALL Automotive questions from all vault colors. Therefore, choosing a set of Combined Tags for your custom study is usually recommended.
