The Developers boost specific vaults for special occasions. These Boosted Vaults are temporarily changed to a higher tier level. Look out for Boosted Vault announcements on Discord or Twitter.


Current Boosted Vault Implementation

Previously, during an event, in cities that have an operational yellow vault, a random vault somewhere in the city would get boosted to Red Vault, containing up to $100 worth of Bitcoin or Ethereum.

As soon as the first player finds AND solves the boosted vault, a three (3) hour countdown begins. For that time, the boosted vault remains at the boosted tier (red). Then, every 3 hours, the boosted vault will drop one tier until it is back to its normal state.

Note: If a Red Vault gets boosted in the final hour of an event, the red vault still lasts for the full 48 hours. If no players find the Boosted Vault within 48 hours, it will simply return to its regular state.

List of Boosted Vaults during The Elemental Invasion Event

The Boosted Vaults during the 2021 Elemental Invasion Event were spawned in cities that have completed their local Cubiecrane to build a Yellow Vault. Only 7 Canadian cities and 6 US cities received the Boosted Vaults during this event. The red boosted vault will only be available for up to 48 hours, but once a player puts a key in it, a 3 hour countdown begins. At the end of 3 hours, the red vault will change to a yellow vault, and will continue every 3 hours to the next tier down until back to its original color.

List of Boosted Vaults during the Halloween Event 2021

In cities that had operational Yellow Vaults, a random vault was be boosted during the event to the Red Vault tier. Once announced, red vaults were only available for up to 48 hours. Once a player successfully solved a red vault, a 3 hour countdown began. At the end of 3 hours, the red vault reverted to a yellow vault, and continued every 3 hours to revert to the next tier down until back to its original tier.

Previous Version of Boosted Vaults

During special events boosted vaults will spawn in Coin Hunt World. There is a chance that a yellow or red boosted vault will spawn within a 25 mile radius of you!

If you are within the 25 mile radius, you will receive a notification message inside the game.

As soon as the first player finds AND solves the boosted vault, the countdown begins. For the next 3 hours the boosted vault remains at the boosted tier. Then every 3 hours, the boosted vault will drop one tier until it is back at its normal state.

If no player finds the boosted vault it will disappear after 72 hours.

Where can I find boosted vaults?

Boosted vaults are often found on famous landmarks, hotspots and well known locations. You will not find a boosted vault on a random street corner. Basically, the boosted vault has the highest chance to appear at an iconic location ;-)

The Canada Day Special Event and July 4th Special Event both feature boosted vaults in all cities in their respective countries with active Yellow Vaults.

During other special events, boosted vaults will appear randomly across the USA & Canada, and there is no guarantee that a boosted vault will spawn near you.
